Fudang Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Fudang Mountain, also known as "Mount of the Sage," is located in the northeastern part of Hedong Township, Songxi County. Ancient volcanic activity has created a diverse and spectacular landscape. The mountain’s “Fortune Culture” system consists of six major themes: Embracing All Blessings, Gathering All Fortunes, Fortune Filling the World, Fortune Created by the Heart, Virtue Nurturing Fortune, and Cultivating Both Wisdom and Fortune, along with nine sub-sections known as the “Nine Fortunes”: Welcoming Fortune, Knowing Fortune, Praying for Fortune, Cherishing Fortune, Creating Fortune, Passing on Fortune, Cultivating Fortune, Planting Fortune, and Revering Fortune.

Hedong Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Songxi County. Established as Dabu Commune in 1959, it was merged into Chengguan Commune in 1966, reinstated as Dabu Commune in 1980, and renamed Hedong Township in 1981. Located in the central part of the county on the eastern bank of the Songxi River, it is 2 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 54 square kilometers with a population of 12,000, it is accessible by road. The township administers six village committees—Hedong, Dabu, Henglong, Changjiang, Changxiang, and Yanhou—and one residential committee, Shuidong. Local enterprises include antique-style furniture, plywood, building materials, and tea processing factories.
