The Sun Clan Ancestral Hall in Taitou is a Tianjin Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The Sun Clan Ancestral Hall is one of the best-preserved ancient buildings in Taitou Town, Jinghai County, and has been listed as part of the fourth batch of Tianjin Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units. Despite over eighty years of exposure to wind and rain, it remains well preserved. According to the genealogy of the Sun family, since the founding ancestor Sun Xianyi migrated from Dali Village, Sishui County, Xiangyang Prefecture, and settled in Huangcha Village during the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty, more than 600 years have passed, spanning 32 generations. There are currently over 800 households and more than 3,000 people.

The Sun Clan Ancestral Hall was originally built in 1926 and was later used by the supply and marketing cooperative after the founding of New China. In 1998, after three months of renovation, the ancestral hall was restored to its original appearance—though modest in scale, it exudes a sense of solemnity and gravitas.
