There are 91 peaks over 1,000 meters in Jian'ou City, with 86 located in the southeast and north. Mount Guoyan, also known as Mount Guoyun, is situated in Jiyang Town in the western part of the county seat and borders Shunchang County. Its main peak stands at an elevation of 1,383.7 meters, flanked by the Jianxi River on the right and the Futun River on the left. The mountain is rich in volcanic and granite rocks, featuring a majestic landscape with undulating ridges, and is the highest peak in western Jian'ou.

Chenshan Mountain (also known as Renshan) is located in Shuiyuan Township in the eastern part of the county seat, adjacent to Dongyou Town. Shaped like the Chinese character “金” (gold), it is a municipal nature reserve, with its main peak reaching an elevation of 1,822.2 meters. The mountain mainly consists of Mesozoic volcanic and granite rocks, with multiple pyrite deposits.

Shita Mountain is located in Yushan Town in the southeastern part of the county seat, bordering Gutian County. Its main peak stands at an elevation of 1,611 meters and has a relatively flat summit with an existing road. The eastern part is composed of granite, while the western part consists of bluish-gray granite.

Qingtian Rock is located in Longcun Township in the northern part of the county seat, bordering Jianyang City. Its main peak reaches an elevation of 1,222.8 meters. The mountain is rich in granite, with metamorphic rocks and quartz ore rocks found in the central area.
