The former site of the Jinghai No. 57 Cadre School of the Central Ministry of Culture is located in Tuánbówā, Jinghai County, Tianjin Municipality, People's Republic of China. The Jinghai No. 57 Cadre School of the Central Ministry of Culture was composed of over 700 personnel from eight associations and twelve cultural units, including the Theatre Research Office, the Film Script Creation and Research Office, the Music Publishing House, and the Music Research Institute.

In September 1970, it was relocated from Baodi to Tuánbówā in Jinghai. At that time, there were 627 students and 57 educated youths. The students were all nationally renowned and highly respected artists who had been labeled with political or historical issues. These famous artists lived at the Jinghai Tuánbówā No. 57 Cadre School for five years. Living conditions were harsh back then—four people shared one room, they drank bitter water, and practiced self-sufficiency. Notable figures such as Zhou Yang, Hua Junwu, Qin Zhaoyang, Lü Ji, Wu Zuguang, Jiang Feng, Song Yang, Guo Xiaochuan, and Wang Chaowen played an active role in enriching the cultural life of the local residents during their time in Jinghai. Wu Zuguang and Wang Jie, among others, revised scripts for amateur writers in Jinghai County; Song Yang, Wang Gufen, and others rehearsed musical and dance performances for the local amateur propaganda teams; Yuan Yiping, Shang Jin, and Li Lang held training sessions for photography enthusiasts; Chen Qiming, Lu Kaixiang, and others directed the modern Peking opera "Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy" for the Jinghai County Peking Opera Troupe (now the Pingju Opera Troupe); and Guo Xiaochuan wrote his famous poem "Autumn in Tuánbówā" here, which brought widespread fame to Tuánbówā in Jinghai County.
