Zhangguantun Kiln Site

The Zhangguantun Kiln Site is a Tianjin Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The Zhangguantun Kiln Site is located south of Zhangguantun Village, Chenguantun Town, Jinghai District, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

On May 16, 2020, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of Tianjin Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government.

Zhangguantun Village: Zhangguantun Village is situated 6 kilometers south of Chenguantun Town, along the South Canal. It has 230 households, a total population of 799, 26 Party members, 18 village representatives, and 1,175 mu of arable land. The village’s “two committees” consist of four members. It lies east of National Highway 104, and most villagers are primarily engaged in farming, mainly cultivating field crops, with 15% of the labor force working outside the village. In 2009, the village collective income was 65,000 yuan, and the annual per capita net income was 6,450 yuan.
