The Joint Tomb of Martyrs Wang Shouren and Wang Rencheng in Qiantuan, Shuiyuan is a cultural relic protection unit of Jian’ou City.

The Joint Tomb of Martyrs Wang Shouren and Wang Rencheng in Qiantuan, Shuiyuan is located in Qiantuan Village, Shuiyuan Township. Dating to the modern era, it is categorized as a tomb.

The tomb is located on the mountainside of the back hill forest north of Qiantuan Village, Shuiyuan Township, Jian’ou City, facing southeast with a northwest orientation. It measures 8.5 meters in length and 8 meters in width, covering an area of 68 square meters. The layout is in the shape of a “phoenix character.” Both the edge of the tomb and the tomb platform are coated with cement. The tomb edge features a six-pillar, five-bay, five-tier structure, with a sandstone stele inlaid in the center. The stele bears an inscription in running script: “In honor of the martyrs Wang Rencheng and Wang Shouren, soldiers of the 10th Corps, 3rd Field Army, originally from Shandong, who gloriously sacrificed their lives on February 19, 1950. Tomb of the martyrs of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Erected by the People’s Committee of Jian’ou County and the Management Committee of Tuanjie Brigade, October 1, 1966.” In front of the stele is a semicircular offering platform. This tomb holds positive significance for enhancing revolutionary education among young people.

On April 28, 2020, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of cultural relic protection units by the Jian’ou Municipal People’s Government.

Protected Area: The tomb faces southeast with a northwest orientation, and the tomb structure itself, covering an area of 172.15 square meters, is defined as the protected zone. The southeast side of the protected area is 15.0 meters long, the southwest side is 14.3 meters, the northwest side is 12.5 meters, and the northeast side is 11.4 meters.

Construction Control Zone: Based on the four corners of the protected area, the control zone extends 22.8 meters eastward to the Shuiyuan–Jinghou Cement Road, 34.3 meters southward, 18.7 meters westward, and 21.1 meters northward. The total area of the construction control zone is 4,304.4 square meters.
