Balingshu Scenic Area

Balingshu Scenic Area is located in Zhangbaling Town, Mingguang City. The area lies on the watershed ridge of the Jianghuai region, boasting convenient transportation with National Highway 104, the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, and the Bengbu-Nanjing Expressway running through it. It holds a prominent geographical advantage, being less than 80 kilometers from Nanjing and within the Nanjing One-Hour Metropolitan Economic Circle. The scenic area covers a total area of approximately 5,000 acres and is developed to national 4A-level tourist attraction standards. With the management goal of “creating an original ecological tourist destination with distinctive Mingguang characteristics,” it employs advanced domestic and international management concepts. The area is committed to establishing a large-scale comprehensive eco-tourism zone integrating leisure, convalescence, vacationing, health and fitness, wellness, entertainment, sightseeing, and shopping, striving to become the most representative tourist attraction in eastern Anhui.

The scenic area offers a variety of leisure, tourism, and entertainment activities including rafting, dune buggies, water sports, children’s playgrounds, camping and barbecuing, farming experiences, science education, agricultural sightseeing and picking, fishing, jungle CS, archery, frisbee shooting, fixed-target shooting, happy farms, fresh produce delivery, outdoor adventure programs, Jiangnan-style gardens, wedding photography, and tourism product development. It is a multi-industry integrated eco-tourism resort combining food, wellness, and leisure, suitable for all ages including seniors, adults, and children. Currently, some Phase I projects such as rafting, water sports, children’s playgrounds, dune buggies, jungle CS, outdoor adventure programs, camping and barbecuing, archery, frisbee shooting, and fixed-target shooting have been completed and opened to the public.
