The Jiashan County Anti-Japanese Democratic Government was established in March 1940. Mr. Wang Daohan, former Mayor of Shanghai and President of the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits, once served as the first county magistrate. The memorial hall is located on Old Street in Zilaibridge Town, with a total construction area of 3,840 square meters. The first floor of the newly built memorial hall features an exhibition area displaying historical materials of the Jiashan County Anti-Japanese Democratic Government, while the second floor showcases the life and achievements of Mr. Wang Daohan, the first county magistrate of Jiashan County.
