Jiayou Temple

A provincial-level cultural heritage site, it was originally named the Great Temple. Legend has it that it was commissioned by Emperor Wu of Liang from the Southern Dynasties, Xiao Yan. In the first year of the Jiayou era, Emperor Renzong Zhao Zhen, who had a fondness for Buddhism, stayed here and before leaving, personally wrote the four characters “Jiayou Chan Temple” on the temple’s gate plaque. As a result, the Great Temple was renamed Jiayou Temple.

Protected area: Beyond the main building, 0.5 meters south to the Nushan Lake Credit Cooperative, 0.5 meters north to the residences of Zhu Shulin, Liu Zhilong, Feng Deming, Feng Xifu, and Feng Tiancai, 0.5 meters east to the homes of — family, the Wu family, Xu Shouwu, and Zhou Tao, and 3 meters west to the West Ring Road of Jiuxian County.

Construction control zone: Beyond the protected area, 1.5 meters south, 1.5 meters north, 1.5 meters east, and 2 meters west.
