Mingguang Huoshen Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Anhui Province.

Huoshen Temple

Provincial-level cultural heritage site. Located at the western corner of the ancient town, it was originally built during the Song Dynasty, rebuilt in the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty, and renovated again during the Tongzhi era. The temple faces south with its back to the north, featuring a main structure of brick, tile, and post-and-lintel wooden construction. It has three bays both in the front and rear sections, covering an area of nearly 400 square meters. The temple houses statues of a seated Buddha, Guanyin, and the Ten Heavenly Kings. It is said to be a highly efficacious site for praying for blessings and peace, attracting a constant stream of worshippers.

Protected area: Extending 3 meters east to Zhajia Alley, 3 meters south to West Ring Road, 0.5 meters west to the ancestral homes of Sun Yuzhi and Zu Lingkou, and 0.5 meters north to the residence of He Yuyang, beyond the main structure of the building.

Construction control zone: Extending 2 meters east, 2 meters south, 1.5 meters west, and 1.5 meters north beyond the protected area.
