Maoji Farmers' Park

Located in the Maoji Social Development Comprehensive Experimental Zone in the western part of Huainan City, Anhui Province. Accessible via the Fuyang-Huainan Railway, Provincial Highway 102, and the Hefei-Huainan-Fuyang Expressway. It is 20 kilometers from the center of Huainan City. This is a tourist attraction integrating leisure, fitness, and vacation.

The park was first built in 1998 and opened to the public in November 2000. The entire park covers an area of 132,665 square meters and features attractions such as a musical fountain square, a maze, Mingde Temple, Peach Blossom Island, the Merit Pagoda, an ostrich farm, a senior apartment complex, and the "Huaihe Folk Custom Museum." Merit Pagoda: Standing 52.8 meters tall and consisting of nine levels, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the small town of Maoji and the scenery along the Huai River from the top.

Mingde Temple: A sacred Buddhist site. Huaihe Folk Custom Museum: Designated as a “National Second-Class Cultural Center.” The museum covers an area of 5,000 square meters, with a building area of 1,170 square meters. The exhibition rooms are all traditional Huizhou-style tiled houses, totaling 11 rooms, along with two bamboo pavilions and 15 bamboo cottages. The exhibits combine murals and physical artifacts to showcase historical scenes of the lives, work, culture, customs, and sports of the people along the Huai River over the centuries. The museum displays 482 physical objects and features 284 square meters of painted murals. It offers a comprehensive portrayal of Huaihe folk customs, inspiring visitors to remember the hardships of the past and cherish today’s happy life.
