Qingtian Taoist Temple

Located at the southern foot of Shuangfeng Mountain, Qingtian Taoist Temple originated in the Western Han Dynasty and flourished in the Tang Dynasty. With a long history and widespread fame, it boasts profound religious cultural heritage. It consists of the "Cave Heaven and Earth," the mountain gate, the stele corridor, the front hall, the middle hall, the Three Pure Ones Hall, the meditation rooms, the Wanghuai Tower, the graveyard, and ancient caves. Having endured many trials throughout its history, the temple has been restored several times and was alternately managed by both Buddhist and Taoist clergy before coming under the administration of the Quanzhen School of Taoism. The mountain gate houses statues of the Guardians Heng and Ha, accompanied by stone lions, a stone gate, and a stone plaque. These elements, combined with mythological legends, highlight the distinct features of Taoist culture. In 1986, it was designated as a provincial-level key Taoist site.
