The Qinglian Temple Site in Shouxian County is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Anhui.

The Qinglian Temple site dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties and is located in Yankou Township, Shouxian County, Anhui. The site originally had a Qing Dynasty temple at its center, named "Qinglian Temple," from which it gets its name. It is now a provincial-level cultural heritage site in Anhui.

Surface-collected specimens and artifacts excavated in 1982 by the Department of Archaeology at Peking University indicate that the Qinglian Temple site mainly consists of cultural deposits from the Shang and Zhou periods. The main artifacts include pottery dou (food vessels), li (tripod cauldrons), guan (jars), pen (basins), pan (plates), wan (bowls), bei (cups), gu (wine vessels), zun (wine vessels), as well as stone axes and arrowheads. The Qinglian Temple site primarily features cultural accumulations from the Shang and Zhou periods, making it an important site from that era in the Jianghuai region.

Cultural Heritage Protection

On May 4, 1998, the Qinglian Temple site was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage site in Anhui.

Protected area: 50 meters outward from the edge of the site.

Construction control zone: 100 meters beyond the protected area.
