The Qing Shan Six Dynasties Tomb Cluster is a provincial-level cultural heritage protection site.

The Qing Shan Six Dynasties Tomb Cluster lies to the east of Qing Shan Mountain, facing the open area and Qing Shan River to the west. The burial sites are situated at a relatively high elevation, surrounded by ravines and overgrown weeds, with severe damage to their original environment and only fair preservation. It is now a provincial-level cultural heritage protection site.

In May 2002, to support the construction of the Ma’anshan–Wuhu Expressway, the Anhui Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conducted rescue excavations, uncovering more than 20 single-chamber and multi-chamber brick tombs from the Six Dynasties period. Among them, M20, M23, and M24 are all “convex-shaped” tombs, each consisting of a blocking wall, passage, burial chamber, and long drainage channel. M23 is 8.34 meters in total length, oriented at 285 degrees; M20 is 7.86 meters long, oriented at 275 degrees; M24 is 7.52 meters long, oriented at 260 degrees. The drainage channels of these three tombs converge and share a common outlet, a common practice in the construction of family cemeteries during the Six Dynasties period. Artifacts unearthed from the tombs include celadon wide-mouthed pots, celadon soul vases, celadon jars, celadon bowls, jade huang pendants, belt hooks, talc pigs, and lead land purchase deeds. Among them, a pair of jade huangs are well-preserved and exquisitely carved, representing a rare set of pendants from the Six Dynasties. The excavation of the Qing Shan Six Dynasties Tomb Cluster provides new insights into the burial system of family cemeteries during that era.
