The Datang Village Ruins is a cultural heritage protection unit of Ma'anshan City.

The Datang Village Ruins: Located about 500 meters south of Shengli Natural Village, Songtang Administrative Village, Gushu Town, Dangtu County. Dating back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties.

On November 9, 2010, the Datang Village Ruins were designated as part of the fourth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Ma'anshan City.

Protected area: 10 meters outside the ruins themselves; construction control zone: 20 meters outside the ruins.

Gushu Town: The "Pearl of the Eastern River" — Gushu Town was established in 2004 through the merger of the former Chengguan Town, Weiping Township, as well as parts of the former Huangshan Township and Xinqiao Township. After the merger, Gushu Town has a population of 130,000 and covers an area of 110 square kilometers, governing 22 villages and 8 community neighborhood committees. It is the largest established town in the county and also serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of Dangtu County. The ancient town area was historically known as Gushu, boasting a long history. The town wall was built during the Huangwu era of the Three Kingdoms period, serving as the gateway to the ancient capital of Jinling (present-day Nanjing), which was the capital of the Six Dynasties.
