Gaojingmiao Forest Park — located in the scenic "Hometown of Chinese Green Tea" — lies to the southeast of Langxi County, approximately 10 kilometers from the county seat, covering an area of nearly 20,000 mu. It borders Nanfeng, Shizi, and the state-owned Shizipu Tea Farm, and derives its name from an ancient well and an ancient temple in the area. The ancient well has crystal-clear water with a high water level that never recedes, even during droughts, making it a remarkable natural wonder in the region; the ancient temple, consisting of three rooms, was built during the Kangxi era and demolished in 1972, with only ruins remaining today.

The park features dense forests with trees towering above, forming a leafy canopy that sways gracefully in various shapes. At the highest point of the forest farm stands a large, umbrella-shaped Pterocarpus indicus tree, 16.5 meters tall, with a trunk diameter of 0.85 meters and a crown spread of 22 meters. On clear days, it can be spotted from over ten li away, making it a rare and striking tree species. In the Tongzi Mountain area of the forest farm, the sounds of cicadas in spring and summer contrast with the tranquil woods, while birdsong adds to the serene mountain ambiance, creating a poetic scene described as “cicadas chirp but the forest grows quieter, birds sing yet the mountain feels more secluded.” The diverse tree species and beautiful environment here provide an ideal habitat for rare wild animals such as egrets and the Chinese alligator. Gaojingmiao Forest Park not only functions as an ecological conservation forest but also serves as a perfect natural destination for leisure, tourism, and recreation during holidays.
