Baiyun Cave Scenic Area

Baiyun Cave is located in Huayang Mountain, Xuanzhou District, about a hundred li from the city. Huayang Mountain rises over a thousand ren in height, spans more than a hundred li in circumference, with continuous peaks, winding streams, and villages in view, extending across the jurisdictions of Xuan, Jing, and Ning. But this magnificent and spectacular underground palace, with its cave entrance facing the sky like a giant well, is so deep and unfathomable when viewed from above that no one dares to venture inside—visitors can only sigh at the sight of the cave.

Discovered and explored in 1986, Baiyun Cave now features seven major attractions open to visitors, including Baiyun Grand Hall, Baiyun Mountain Villa, and Baiyun Fairy Palace. Inside the cave, visitors can witness rolling white clouds, hear the murmuring flow of water, and take in the celestial wonderland and pastoral scenery. The stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars present a myriad of shapes, offering a unique view at every step.
