Ruan Gong Bridge

Ruan Gong Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected by the Xuancheng Municipal Government.

Ruan Gong Bridge is located in Xiangyang Subdistrict, Xuancheng District. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In 2016, Ruan Gong Bridge was designated by the People's Government of Xuancheng City as part of the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Xiangyang Subdistrict: Located in the eastern suburbs of Xuancheng City, Xiangyang Subdistrict is 1.5 km from the urban area. Covering a total area of 116 square kilometers, it enjoys convenient transportation. National Highway 318, the Xuancheng–Hangzhou Railway, and the Wan–Gan Railway all pass through the area, while the Shuiyang River, Huayang River, and Wanxi River flow across it.

Along the Xuancheng–Xiangyang and Xuancheng–Gang roads, there are 1,067 enterprises distributed, forming three major pillar industries: poultry breeding, machinery processing, and construction materials. It is the largest “Three-Yellow Chicken Breeding Base” in East China, producing 60 million chicks and 20 million broilers annually.
