Sunbu Old Street is a cultural heritage site protected by the Xuanzhou Municipal Government.

Sunbu Old Street is located in Sunbu Town, Xuanzhou District. Dating back to the late Qing Dynasty and the Republican era, it is categorized as ancient architecture.

In 2016, Sunbu Old Street was designated by the Xuanzhou Municipal People's Government as part of the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Sunbu Town: Situated in the eastern suburbs of Xuanzhou City, Sunbu Town is 15 kilometers from the city center, covering a total area of 117.6 square kilometers with a population of 54,000. It is traversed by the Xuancheng–Hangzhou Railway, National Highway 318 (expressway), Provincial Highway 104, and the Shuiyang River. The town enjoys a superior location and convenient transportation. As early as the Qing Dynasty, Sunbu Town was renowned for its thriving commerce.

The town hosts the largest timber market in southern Anhui, covering an area of over 200 acres, two wholesale markets for small commodities, export-oriented enterprises such as Xuanfeng and Dasheng Huangjiu Breweries, as well as a range of key local businesses including agricultural machinery plants, coal mines, red sand mines, refined rice processing plants, shoe factories, and furniture factories...
