Guantanghu Scenic Area

Guantanghu Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Guantanghu Scenic Area is located in Yangxian Township, Xuanzhou District, Xuancheng City. Yangxian is known as the birthplace of elderly care in China, hence the name.

The scenic area is 16 kilometers from the city center and 9 kilometers from the Xuancheng North Highway Exit. It is traversed by the Shangqiu–Hangzhou High-Speed Railway and the Tongnanxuan Expressway on the Shanghai–Chongqing Expressway, connecting four major metropolitan areas: Shanghai, Huzhou, Hangzhou, and Hefei. It lies adjacent to the “affluent region” of the Yangtze River Delta and the Wanjiang City Belt, enjoying a superior location and convenient transportation.

key cultural industry project and a Xuancheng City study-travel base within just two years. The total investment is approximately 580 million RMB, covering an area of over 660 acres, including more than 100 acres of water surface. It is a comprehensive health and leisure tourism destination integrating cultural tourism, vacation and wellness, catering and accommodation, a library, a wedding photography base, and integrated medical and elderly care services.

The scenic area has been honored with numerous titles, including “Anhui Province’s Best Human Settlement Environment Demonstration Base,” “National Most Beautiful Place Name Story,” and “Guantanghu Beautiful Characteristic Town.”

To date, the scenic area has invested hundreds of millions of RMB to construct a grand and elegant traditional Huizhou-style architectural complex — Chinese Folk Houses (featuring eleven courtyard-style resort residences with a total construction area of about 3,200 square meters),

Huizhou-style residential courtyards (including eight Huizhou-style houses with a total construction area of about 1,050 square meters), and the elegantly landscaped Qingsong Ridge (with nineteen wooden villa cottages).

It has also built rockery waterfalls (13 meters high and weighing over 3,000 tons), a dark wood culture carving exhibition area, the Former Residence of Lady Wu, a legendary beast and exotic stone area, a wedding photography base, and the culturally rich

Dark Wood Forest, Forty-Two Joys, a “Heaven and Man in Unity” landscape, a Dutch windmill, and a leisure bar.

Its Zunxian Grand Hotel is a comprehensive building integrating conference reception, catering and accommodation, leisure shopping, and children’s entertainment. The construction of the Visitor Center has been completed, and it is now awaiting interior decoration. The second phase plans include the construction of a children’s study-travel parent-child park, an exotic-themed garden (comprising 29 separate European and American-style buildings), and other projects.

In the future, the company will continue to develop elderly care apartment complexes in accordance with the overall construction plan of China’s Guantanghu Scenic Area, and strive to establish itself as a provincial-level tourist attraction, a provincial civil air defense evacuation base, a provincial study-travel base, and a four-star tourist hotel.
