Tomb of Qian Chengzhi

The Tomb of Qian Chengzhi is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

The Tomb of Qian Chengzhi faces south and overlooks the north from a high position. It consists of the burial mound, a tomb stele written by Fang Bao, a memorial tablet, and other elements. The tomb is an earthen mound enclosed by bluestone slabs, with lotus-shaped pillars standing on either side. The remaining length is 2.7 meters, width 2.6 meters, and the current site area is 6.7 square meters.

Qian Chengzhi was an outstanding literary figure and poet of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. He courageously abandoned conventional scholarship to specialize in classical prose, producing refined and elegant writings that had a certain influence on the later development of the "Tongcheng School." He held a significant position in the poetry circles of the early Qing Dynasty. This tomb provides important material for the study of Qian Chengzhi and holds certain historical research value.

Protected area: A 10-meter radius in all directions—east, south, west, and north—centered on the tomb mound.

Construction control zone: A 5-meter buffer beyond the protected area in all directions—east, south, west, and north.
