Hou Tuqiao Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is a Haishu District cultural relic protection unit, a classic red tourism site, and a patriotic education base.

Hou Tuqiao Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is located in Hou Tuqiao Village, Jishigang Town, Haishu District, and was designated as a district-level cultural relic protection unit on November 18, 1994.

Hou Tuqiao Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery was built to commemorate 37 revolutionary cadres and soldiers, including Chen Xingzhi, who sacrificed their lives heroically during the Battle of Hou Tuqiao in April 1944.

In April 1944, the 4th Squadron of the 5th Detachment of the East Zhejiang Guerrilla Column was stationed at Hou Tuqiao. Due to betrayal by a puppet village head, they were attacked from both sides by hundreds of stubborn puppet troops under the Nationalist Party. The guerrilla fighters fought back fiercely. Ultimately, outnumbered, apart from three wounded soldiers who managed to break through, the other 37 sacrificed their lives heroically.

In 1951, the Party and the people's government erected a memorial monument on the land where the martyrs had fought. In 1955 and 1994, the Yin County government allocated funds to expand the Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery on the original site and establish the Hou Tuqiao Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall. The cemetery covers an area of 2,300 square meters. The martyrs’ tomb is circular with a domed roof, and on the left and right sides in front of the tomb stand commemorative pavilions. The front of the stone tablet in the pavilion bears ten large characters reading “Eternal Glory to the Martyrs Who Died in the War of Resistance,” while the back describes the battle’s details. Another pavilion’s tablet outlines the history of the cemetery’s expansion. At the entrance stands a statue of a New Fourth Army soldier. Surrounded by evergreen pines and cypresses, and blooming flowers all year round, the cemetery emanates solemnity and reverence upon entry. Every year around Tomb-Sweeping Day, visitors come in an endless stream to pay their respects and mourn the martyrs. In 1995, it was listed as a district-level patriotic education base.
