Ningbo Tianyi Pavilion's Ninghui Hall

Located opposite Bai'e Pavilion, Ninghui Hall is a Qing Dynasty structure built with brick, wood, and stone pillars. It houses a collection of Ming and Qing dynasty steles, including the "Shenlong Version" of the "Orchid Pavilion Preface" carved in the Ming Dynasty and Wen Zhengming’s small regular script "Epitaph for Xue Wenmingfu." The ambiance of scholarly books and calligraphy artistry complements each other perfectly. The hall displays calligraphic reproductions of the "Orchid Pavilion Preface" by master calligraphers throughout history—definitely worth a visit.
