Wangchun Bridge

Wangchun Bridge is a Haishu District cultural heritage site.

Wangchun Bridge is located on the south side of the middle section of Wangchunqiao Street in Haishu District. It was built during the Qing Dynasty and was designated as part of the fifth batch of Haishu District-level cultural heritage sites in December 2010. The bridge was initially repaired in the Gengshen year of Emperor Qianlong’s reign and renovated again in the Dingyou year of Emperor Guangxu’s reign. Running from north to south, it spans the Xitang River and is a single-arch stone bridge with a plan that is slightly "H"-shaped. In 2005, Mr. Zhong Baochang, a Hong Kong businessman, funded its restoration. The Wangchun Bridge Pavilion is situated at the eastern end of the bridge and is a single-eave, four-pillar pavilion structure. Wangchun Bridge and its pavilion are important hydraulic transportation heritage sites along the Ningbo section of the Eastern Zhejiang Canal.
