Former Site of Ningbo Chamber of Commerce

The former site of the Ningbo Chamber of Commerce is a protected cultural heritage site in Haishu District.

The former site of the Ningbo Chamber of Commerce is located at No. 195 Cangshui Street, Haishu District. In December 2010, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Haishu District. This modern structure's main component, the Small Flower Hall, faces south and was originally part of the Ningbo Chamber of Commerce building. It is one of the garden features—including rockeries, rare trees, and the flower hall—that were retained when Zhongshan Park was built. To the left of the Small Flower Hall stands a “Ningbo Chamber of Commerce Stele” and a stele pavilion. The building’s façade incorporates numerous Western architectural elements. It serves as a tangible witness to both modern architecture and the history of the development of the Ningbo Chamber of Commerce.
