Yongfeng Pavilion

Yongfeng Pavilion is a cultural heritage site protected by Haishu District.

Yongfeng Pavilion is located to the east of Shuikuji Natural Village in Yunfeng Village, Yinjiang Town, Haishu District. According to local county records, the pavilion was first built in the late Southern Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the early Republican era. It is the most renowned pavilion in Yinzhou District and was even marked on the Zhejiang Provincial County Maps published in the 1980s. Situated at the foot of Mufu Mountain, Yongfeng Pavilion lies along the ancient road from Yinjiang to Fenghua. The pavilion is a through-type shelter with three bays. Its interior columns are square stone pillars topped with short wooden posts. Stone inscriptions in the form of couplets can be found on the pillars. According to local villagers, the right side of the pavilion originally housed deities: in the center was the God of Wealth, Zhao Gongming; above him was the Earth God, and below him was the Silkworm Flower Fairy.

The construction of Yongfeng Pavilion provided travelers on the ancient road from Yinjiang to Fenghua with a place to rest, take shelter from rain, and escape the sun, giving it significant historical value. In 2010, it was designated as part of the ninth batch of district-level cultural heritage sites in Yinzhou District, and following the 2016 administrative division adjustment of Ningbo City, it came under the jurisdiction of Haishu District.
