Transcendence Pavilion

Transcendence Pavilion is a protected cultural heritage site of Ningbo.

Transcendence Pavilion was originally located on Liuting Islet in Moon Lake, Haishu District, Ningbo. It has now been relocated to the intersection of Maya Street and Yanyue Street on the western shore of Moon Lake. In September 1992, it was designated as one of the first municipal-level cultural heritage conservation sites in Ningbo. The pavilion features a triple-eaved hip-and-gable roof and serves as the main structure within the "Liuting" Free School. Inside, there are two stone steles. From the pavilion, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Moon Lake. It was built in the 11th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1831).
