Ningbo Baiyi Temple

Ningbo Baiyi Temple is a municipal cultural heritage conservation unit in Ningbo.

Baiyi Temple is situated at No. 194 Xiaowen Street, Haishu District, Ningbo. In September 1992, it was designated as one of the first municipal-level cultural heritage protection points in Ningbo. Currently functioning as a warehouse for a playing card printing factory, it was originally Jingtuju Baoren Temple. Constructed in the first year of the Changxing era (930) of the Later Tang Dynasty in the Five Dynasties period, it was granted the name “Baiyi Guangren” in the first year of the Zhiping era (1064) of the Song Dynasty. After experiencing multiple periods of rise and decline, the existing main hall was rebuilt in the 18th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1892) and renovated during the Republican era. The current main hall features a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, with its wooden beam structure relatively well preserved.
