Li Residence

The Li Residence is a municipal cultural heritage protection site in Ningbo.

The Li Residence is located at No. 16 Xianqian Street, Haishu District, Ningbo City. In September 1999, it was designated as one of the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection sites in Ningbo. Built during the Republican era, it features a fusion of Chinese and Western architectural styles. The main structure faces south and is built with high-quality materials and exquisite decorations. The original owner of the residence was a Mr. Li, who was the proprietor of a Shanghai textile mill. After the liberation, it became state property. In the early years following the liberation, prominent figures such as Chen Yi, Peng Dehuai, Guo Moruo, and He Long stayed here during their visits to Ningbo.
