Dengkedi

Dengkedi is a municipal cultural heritage conservation unit in Ningbo.

Dengkedi is located at No. 8 Guijing Street, Haishu District, Ningbo. In September 1999, it was announced as one of the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage conservation sites in Ningbo. It is a Qing Dynasty building, facing east with its back to the west, and the main gate faces north. The doorway features a plum-and-stone frame adorned with carved spandrels.

According to records, this residence was originally the property of the Xu family during the Qing Dynasty. It is a relatively well-preserved Qing Dynasty courtyard house, providing physical evidence for the study of architectural history in the Ningbo region during the Qing Dynasty.
