Zhou’s Residence in the Alley

Zhou’s Residence is located at No. 4, Alley, Haishu District, Ningbo. In September 1999, it was designated as one of the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage conservation sites in Ningbo. Built in the mid-Qing Dynasty, the residence faces south with its back to the north. The front hall and entrance hall were modified in later periods, while the rear building remains relatively intact, and the study room was added during the Republican era. According to oral accounts, the original owner of the building was surnamed Chen, who later sold it to the Zhou family.
