The Liao Family Gatehouse

The Liao Family Gatehouse is located at No. 25 Yanyue Street, Haishu District, Ningbo. In August 2003, it was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage conservation sites in Ningbo. This traditional three-sided courtyard residence was built in the early Qing Dynasty. The main gate has been destroyed, but the second gate remains well-preserved in an outward-facing "eight-character" layout. It faces Moon Lake and features faux bracket sets along with other brick-and-wood carvings. The main structure faces east and sits west.
