The Gu Residence on Feijia Lane

The Gu Residence on Feijia Lane is located at No. 11 Feijia Lane, Haishu District, Ningbo. In August 2003, it was designated as one of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage conservation sites in Ningbo. This Qing Dynasty building features a main structure that faces south with its back to the north, and the main building has a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof. Research indicates that the residence once belonged to Gu Qinglian, a teacher of Chiang Kai-shek during his studies in Ningbo.

The residence boasts exquisite beams and carefully selected materials, making it a fairly typical example of an official residence from the Qing Dynasty. It holds certain reference value for the study of ancient architecture in Ningbo.
