Ning'an Lane

Ning'an Lane is located at No. 146 Xiaowen Street, Haishu District, Ningbo City. In August 2003, it was designated as one of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites in Ningbo. It is a building from the Republican era. The main structure faces south and consists of a two-story building. The gateway faces west, situated on the west gable wall, featuring a Western-style exterior, a pebble-dashed door frame, and a small upper story above the doorway, with the lintel inscribed with the three characters “Ning’an Fang” (Ning'an Lane).

The overall layout of Ning'an Lane is unique and well-preserved, showcasing an architectural style that blends Chinese and Western elements. It serves as an excellent example for the study of Republican-era architecture in Ningbo.
