Ludiang Bridge

Ludiang Bridge is located at Liuting on Moon Lake in Haishu District, Ningbo. In December 2010, it was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites in Haishu District.

Originally built during the Ming Dynasty and last renovated in 1965, the bridge spans east to west across Moon Lake. It is a two-arch flat bridge with piers constructed from layered stone blocks. Research indicates that the bridge was initially built by the Tang Dynasty monk Yunzhen and was first named Zhuangzhuang East Bridge. It was later renovated during the Ming Dynasty by Lu Shike and renamed Ludiang Bridge, the name which is still used today. This bridge stands as a witness to the thousand-year history of Moon Lake and plays a significant role in the research and exploration of the region’s historical and cultural heritage.
