Lingwei Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Lingwei Temple is located in Panxi Natural Village, Longxi Village, Longguan Township, Haishu District, Ningbo City. Based on the structure of the existing buildings, it is determined to be a construction from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republican era. The temple faces south and covers an area of about 600 m², featuring a courtyard-style layout. The entrance hall is five bays wide, with side chambers on both sides supported by four pillars—stone pillars in the front and round wooden pillars at the back. A stage is set up in the courtyard. The rear section is the main hall, also five bays wide. The central and adjacent bays have a framework of four pillars and ten rafters, with a five-rafter lifted beam system and double steps both front and back; the adjacent bays share the same structure as the central ones. The side bays use a central pillar and post-and-lintel structure. The side chambers are three bays wide. There is a door on each side of the main hall, and originally there were stairs connecting the main hall to the side chambers.

Lingwei Temple has a well-organized layout and is relatively well-preserved. The architecture is tall and spacious, using robust materials with exquisite craftsmanship. Carvings such as pomegranates and Buddha’s hands can be found on the bracket arms and spandrels, all exhibiting distinct local characteristics. It holds significant cultural heritage value. In May 2005, it was designated as a cultural relics protection site at the Yinzhou District level. Following the 2016 administrative division adjustment of Ningbo City, it was placed under the jurisdiction of Haishu District.

Longxi Village: Longxi Village administers eight natural villages, including Banxi New Village. It is named Longxi (Dragon Stream Village) due to its location in the stream-rich area of Longguan Township. As one of the villages that implemented high-mountain relocation relatively early, various initiatives in Longxi Village have progressed in an orderly manner, with future efforts focusing on the development of high-mountain villages. Siming Mountain Archway, located near the Lipeilou Power Station in Longxi Village, features the name “Siming Mountain” outlined in double lines on the front lintel and a bas-relief of “two dragons playing with a pearl” on the back.
