Longyu Cave Heaven is a national scenic area and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Longyu Cave Heaven is a national 4A-level scenic tourist area, located in Changyu Town, 12 kilometers from the city center. It consists of four major scenic zones: Eight Immortals Rock, Shuangmen Cave, Chongguo Temple, and Wild Mountain. It is a stone culture landscape formed by manual slate quarrying since the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Over more than 1,500 years, 28 cave clusters and 1,314 cave chambers have been created, forming a magnificent panorama of grandeur, danger, wonder, ingenuity, and serenity. Longyu Cave Heaven stands out among similar scenic areas worldwide for its long history of quarrying, vast scale, and rich cultural content, and is hailed as the “No. 1 Cave of China.” In April 1998, it was awarded the Guinness World Record and received the Best Project Award for the 1998 Guinness World Record.

Transportation:

Take a minibus from Wenling Old Bus Station to Xinhua or Ruoheng, and get off at Changyu Town.

By car: Take the Yong-Tai-Wen Expressway, then drive along the Daxi-Songmen First-Class Highway toward Changyu.
