Songyan Mountain is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

: The Stone Giant is a rock formation resembling a human figure, standing over a hundred meters tall and rising abruptly from the landscape. Ancient poetry describes it as: “Soaring high, it pierces the thousand-fathom earth; lifting its head, it barely leaves the grasp of the sky. Only cloud-crowned peaks stand in eternal tribute, no other stone companion its equal in height.”

The Lotus Peak Terrace features craggy rocks clustered together, shaped like a lotus flower. Surrounded by steep cliffs on all sides, it is accessible only by a single ladder. The terrace is home to small bridges, ponds, lush forests, and elegant bamboo, creating a serene and refined atmosphere. The Heavenly Ladder, also known as the Ancient Immortals’ Hundred Steps Street, consists of over 400 stone steps that wind through the crevices of a cliff. As you walk along it, looking up, you can see a sliver of sky. At the entrance of the Stone Peak Cave, ancient trees tower overhead, some as thick as a person’s embrace. Inside the cave, clear springs drip year-round without ceasing.

The Cloud Slice Waterfall is a multi-tiered cascade where the flow of water changes unpredictably with the seasons, creating a spectacular sight. In addition, there are other attractions such as the Hanging Raft Rock, Stone Rice Steamer, Golden Rooster Rock, Elephant Trunk Rock, Immortal Bridge, Beauty Mirror, Skyward Cave, and Mountain Goblin Cave, each with its own unique features. Located in Chengjiang Town, 8 kilometers west of Huangyan, the main peak stands 645 meters high. The area boasts overlapping mountain ridges and enchanting scenery. Within its 2-square-kilometer expanse are scattered more than 30 scenic spots, including the Stone Giant, Lotus Peak Terrace, Heavenly Ladder, Stone Peak Cave, and Cloud Slice Waterfall.
