The Daxi Dong’ou Ancient City Ruins are a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Era: Western Han Dynasty

The Daxi Dong’ou Ancient City Ruins, located in Daxi Town, Wenling City, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, are the ruins of an ancient city from the Western Han Dynasty, covering an area of about 100,000 square meters. They are the earliest known ancient city site in the Taizhou region and the only city site discovered within the territory of the Dong’ou Kingdom. In May 2013, they were officially designated by the State Council as part of the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
