The Ancient Pan Mountain Trail served as a former gateway between Taizhou and Wenzhou and a major trade route. It remains largely intact, featuring various associated structures such as stone drains, stone bridges, and rest shelters that exhibit diverse forms and rich local character.

Lingjiao Loulang (Foot of the Ridge Rest Shelter) is situated at the base of Hongwujian Mountain in Chenyang Village. Constructed with a combination of wood and stone, it has three bays with a five-rafter span and front-back corridors, using a total of 16 pillars. The pillars are inscribed with the names of contributors. Wooden planks are laid between the stone pillars to serve as benches. There is one small stone bridge above and one below the shelter, both single-arch stone bridges.

Chenyang Village: Located in the mountainous northwest of Daxi Town, Wenling City, Chenyang Village is about 10 kilometers from the town government seat. It borders Jingzhu Village to the east, Pingshan Village to the west, Hongwu Jian to the southwest, and Yangtian Lake to the north, surrounded by mountains on three sides. It is also one of the sources of Taihu Lake water and the starting point of the Ancient Pan Mountain Trail.
