The Dai Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected by Wenling City.

The Dai Clan Ancestral Hall is located in Shangjie Village, Wentou Town, Wenling City, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. According to local villagers, it was built during the Qing Dynasty. Facing south and covering an area of over 400 square meters, the hall has undergone repairs through the generations. The current structure consists of a small quadrangle courtyard, including a screen wall, entrance gate, east and west wing rooms, rear hall, and a central courtyard. The screen wall was newly built in 1995. The entrance gate spans five bays, with the central bay featuring a depth of three columns and five rafters, using a hybrid of raised-beam and through-tenon construction. The beams are carved with patterns such as meanders, floral designs, and animal motifs. The east and west wing rooms span three bays and are two stories high. The rear hall spans five bays, with the central bay having a depth of six columns and nine rafters, constructed with raised beams, while the side bays have a depth of nine columns and nine rafters, using through-tenon construction. A pathway measuring 7.26 meters long and 1.95 meters wide runs through the center of the courtyard. The ancestral hall's architectural style is characteristic of the Qing Dynasty, with some local features that give it cultural and historical value.
