Wenshan Longevity Bridge

Wenshan Longevity Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Wenling City.

Wenshan Longevity Bridge is located on Meixi Stream in Fengshan Natural Village, Lingjiao Village, Wentou Town, Wenling City, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, where it spans the stream from north to south. It was built in the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934) through funds raised by local residents. The bridge is a three-arch stone structure, approximately 34.43 meters long, 3.22 meters wide, 5.4 meters high, and covering an area of about 110.9 square meters. The arches are built with stone blocks and embedded with dovetail joints. The bridge parapets are constructed with strip stones, featuring traditional Chinese patterns. Each side of the bridge is lined with stone balustrades, adding a sense of symmetry and grace. The bridge is not only an important historical architectural structure in the region, but also possesses certain cultural and artistic value. Lingjiao Village: Located in the southwestern part of Wentou Town, Lingjiao Village consists of 4 natural villages and 9 villager groups, with a total of 360 households and 1,081 residents. The village has 27 Party members, 54 villager representatives, and 256 residents aged 55 and above. In 2014, the total collective income of the village was 78,000 yuan, and the per capita income of villagers was 6,800 yuan. The village covers an area of 1.1 square kilometers, including 255 mu of paddy fields, 150 mu of dry land, 1,020.5 mu of forested hills, and 28.1 mu of aquaculture areas on tidal flats.
