Xiaoshatou Corridor
Xiaoshatou Corridor is a cultural relic protection unit of Wenling City.
Xiaoshatou Corridor is located at No. 3 North Road, Xiaoshatou Village, Shitang Town, Wenling City, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. It was formerly a stopover along the route from Shitang to Ruoshan. Based on its architectural style and recollections from local villagers, it is believed to have been built during the Republic of China period. Facing south with a north orientation, it features three bays, a depth of 5.27 meters, a width of 8.75 meters, and covers an area of 46.11 square meters. The corridor has a five-rafter beam structure, a brick wall on the north side, and is open on the south. Both the eastern and western ends connect to the road, and stone benches are placed around it for travelers to rest. Xiaoshatou Corridor is the best physical evidence of the inconvenient transportation in Shitang in the old days.
