The ruins of the Xinhé Suocheng City Wall are located at the Longshan intersection in Xinhé Town, Wenling City, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. The Xinhé Suocheng was built in the 38th year of the Hongwu reign during the Ming Dynasty (1359). The city wall stands approximately 7 meters high, with a base width of 11 meters and a length of about 14 meters. It is constructed with block stones at the base, while the wall itself is overgrown with scattered rocks and weeds. Xinhé Town was a military garrison town during the Ming Dynasty’s resistance against Japanese pirates. Other gates and sections of the city wall have been destroyed, leaving only this small remaining segment.
