The Jinyun County Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is a cultural relic protection unit of Lishui City, a classic red tourism destination, and a patriotic education base.

Jinyun County is a veteran revolutionary county with a distinguished tradition of revolution. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the finest sons and daughters of Jinyun gave their lives in the struggle to overthrow the old society and establish New China. They shed their blood, advanced wave upon wave, and made heroic sacrifices, composing moving and heroic epics with their devotion. To publicize the glorious achievements of the revolutionary martyrs and honor their patriotic spirit, the county government built the Jinshan Martyrs' Cemetery in 1981, which was renamed the Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery in December 2006.

Covering an area of over 20,000 square meters, the Jinyun County Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery includes a memorial archway-style entrance, a monument, a memorial hall, a cemetery, and a memorial pavilion. The monument stands 12 meters tall and measures 2.4 meters by 2 meters in width. The sides of the monument’s base are inscribed with the names of 319 martyrs. Below and to the right of the monument is the Martyrs’ Memorial Pavilion. The memorial hall has three floors, with a total area of about 663 square meters. The first floor serves as a reception area, the second floor houses a meeting and exhibition hall, and the third floor is also an exhibition space. The main contents of the exhibition include: an overview, biographies of individuals, displays of artifacts, and a historical panorama (including various battles, major events, and key figures). It comprehensively reflects the entire history of the revolutionary struggle from the Xinhai Revolution to the liberation of Jinyun. The memorial hall currently houses 119 precious photographs of martyrs, over 20 personal belongings of the martyrs, and other revolutionary historical relics.

In 1991, the Jinyun County Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery was designated as a Key Martyrs’ Memorial Building Protection Unit by the Jinyun County People's Government. In 1995, it was named a Patriotic Education Base and a Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit of Lishui City by the Lishui Municipal People's Government. In 2002, it was approved as a Key Martyrs’ Memorial Building Protection Unit of Zhejiang Province by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government.
