The Exhibition Hall of the Yellow Emperor's Historical Traces in Xiandu is a patriotic education base.

In 1995, the Exhibition Hall of the Yellow Emperor's Historical Traces in Jinyun Xiandu was designated as a patriotic education base in Lishui City. The base’s distinctive feature is Yellow Emperor culture. Through educational efforts, it has gradually developed a unique model of patriotic education with characteristics of the Xiandu scenic area. From a special perspective, it continuously enriches and enhances the connotation of the education base to attract, inspire, and educate visitors. By renovating the existing patriotic education base and reorganizing its resources, the base has significantly expanded its functions and greatly amplified the exhibition hall’s radiating influence. Having been established for over a decade, the internal facilities of the Xiandu Yellow Emperor's Historical Traces Exhibition Hall have deteriorated over time, and its content has become outdated. In 2013, the Xiandu Management Committee carried out a major renovation of the Huangdi Temple and reorganized the exhibition hall, enriching and updating its content based on the original foundation. Experts on Yellow Emperor culture were repeatedly convened for discussions and research to categorize and systematize the displayed content. The exhibition is divided into six major sections: the first part introduces the Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan; the second explores the relationship between Xuanyuan and Jinyun Xiandu; the third covers the evolution of the Huangdi Temple; the fourth presents research achievements on Yellow Emperor culture; the fifth focuses on the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon and local Jinyun folk customs; and the final section is a display of physical artifacts. The artifact display is a newly added component, featuring unearthed relics from the Huangdi Temple and ceremonial offerings, offering visitors a more tangible and immersive red tourism experience.

Xiandu Subdistrict: The Jinyun County Xiandu Scenic Area Management Committee (referred to as the Xiandu Management Committee) and the Xiandu Subdistrict Office share one administrative team under two names. The committee and the subdistrict office operate jointly, taking full responsibility for the protection, planning, development, construction, and other economic and social management functions within the Xiandu Scenic Area. The subdistrict office governs seven administrative villages, covering an area of 35.9 square kilometers. The jurisdiction includes one police station, one primary school, one township health center, with a total population of 9,862 people and an average per capita rural income of 9,388 yuan.
