The Yuncheng Shuangmian Museum is located in the “Green Valley of Zhejiang” ecological demonstration area—Xingwang Village, Shuhong Town, Jinyun County. Construction started in April 2016 and was completed in October 2017. It is a base that combines the display, experience, tasting, and training of Shuangmian culture.

Jinyun Shuangmian is one of the top ten nostalgic and prosperity-boosting industries in Jinyun. As an important part of the “grassroots entrepreneurship” initiative, it has been included in the 2016 people's livelihood list. In 2008, it was listed in the second batch of Lishui Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Lishui Municipal People's Government, and in 2011, it was recognized as one of Lishui’s "Ten Treasures of Chuzhou" agricultural products. As a long-established production base for traditional noodles, Jinyun Shuangmian holds a certain influence in the industry and has developed well-known provincial-level trademarks such as “Yuping Mountain.”

Xingwang Village in Shuhong Town is the birthplace of traditional noodle culture, with a long history of production. It is the largest production and processing area for handmade noodles in the county. The village now has over 400 households engaged in noodle production, with an annual output of 4,000 tons, generating a production value of over 48 million yuan and profits exceeding 30 million yuan. In 2005, the Xingwang Handmade Noodles Professional Cooperative was established to support villagers’ income growth. This cooperative was recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial Model Farmers' Professional Cooperative by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture in 2008, and in 2017, it became a key entity for agricultural tourism product development in the county.

The Jinyun Shuangmian Museum covers a total land area of 6,735.4 square meters, with a total construction area of 4,352.3 square meters. It includes a Shuangmian Culture Exhibition Area, a Shuangmian Processing and Experience Area, a Training Area, a Tasting Area, and a Shuangmian Purchase Area, offering four main functions: promotion, training and guidance, tasting, and tourism shopping.

First, Promotion. The Shuangmian Culture Exhibition Area spans 550 square meters and mainly consists of two sections: the History of Noodle Evolution and the Agricultural Work Display Area. It plays a significant role in promoting the historical evolution, development process, production techniques, and cultural heritage of Jinyun Shuangmian.

Second, Training and Guidance. The Shuangmian Processing and Experience Area covers 850 square meters, allowing visitors to personally experience the craftsmanship and process of making Shuangmian. The Shuangmian Training Area spans 968 square meters, meeting the annual training demand for around 1,000 people. Additionally, the museum offers theoretical training courses covering topics such as Shuangmian production techniques and e-commerce sales. Combining practical training with theoretical education will effectively standardize the environmental quality of handmade noodle production, improve product quality, and enhance the training of e-commerce skills to break through traditional distribution models and expand sales channels.

Third, Tasting. The museum features a tasting area where visitors can sample freshly made Shuangmian. Fourth, Tourism Shopping—the museum will establish a tourist shopping and exhibition center as a new hub for visitors, using tourism to drive sales and increase farmers’ income. While inheriting traditional noodle culture, the Jinyun Shuangmian Museum also supports local entrepreneurial efforts.

The Jinyun Shuangmian Museum will become an important promotional window for Jinyun Shuangmian culture, boosting the agricultural and tourism development of Shuhong Town, and establishing Jinyun Shuangmian as the county’s second golden brand after “Jinyun Pancakes.”

Xingwang Village: Xingwang Village has a long history, with residents gathering here as early as the Zhao and Song dynasties. By the Ming Dynasty’s Wanli era (1578), Wang Renqi, the seventh-generation descendant of the Sanhuai Hall and also known as Wang Rensun (or Sun), led his wife and children from Sanbu near Dalinzhangshu Bridge in Xianju to settle at the foot of Yuping Mountain. Since then, the land has flourished, with descendants thriving continuously. Later, the Li family also migrated from Baotang in Fujian.

Xingwang Village was historically known as Zhenxi Tangtou, a name derived from its location along the banks of Zhenxi Creek.
