The Lu Family Residence in Qian'ao Village is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

The Lu Family Residence in Qian'ao Village is a traditional three-courtyard, two-patio residential building. It was built by Lu Hanyang (1785–1866), a tribute student during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty. The structure faces east and has an overall longitudinal rectangular layout. Along the central axis are three sections: the entrance hall, the main hall, and the rear hall, flanked by wing rooms on both sides. The total floor area is approximately 880 square meters. The entrance hall has a single-eave second floor, spanning three bays, with the central bay featuring a beam frame of four pillars and seven rafters. The carvings display rich motifs and exquisite craftsmanship. The rear section of the central bay includes a corridor veranda, while the side bays have ceilings, together with the front corridors of the main hall and wing rooms forming an interior loop passage. The main hall spans three bays, with the central bay featuring a four-pillar, seven-rafter beam frame with front and rear lower eaves and a front corridor veranda. The rear hall is a spacious three-bay space, with the central bay having a seven-pillar, seven-rafter beam frame with a front lower eave and a front passageway flanked by side rooms.

The Lu Family Residence maintains an intact overall layout, with exquisitely crafted wood and brick carvings that showcase the exceptional traditional craftsmanship of the time. It possesses distinctive local features and holds significant historical, artistic, and scientific value.
