Hanhui Cave

Hanhui Cave is located at the foot of Saitai Mountain, 4 kilometers east of Suichang County. The two stone caves, Hanhui and Lingquan, are connected vertically and were formed by ancient rock collapses. The scenic area is characterized by ancient trees and unique rocks, with century-old trees in diverse shapes standing tall and lush. Legend has it that the Taoist priest Zhang Silian from the Song Dynasty became immortal in the cave, hence it was also named "Zhangxian Cave." The cave can accommodate a hundred people, and its walls feature inscriptions by ancient celebrities. The cave is pleasantly cool, with a gentle flow of Lingquan spring. Above the cave lies Saitai Temple, originally built during the Shaoxing period of the Song Dynasty, which includes attractions such as Liuxian Pavilion, Wangcheng Pavilion, Ship Rock Pavilion, and the Hanhui Shengjing Archway.
