Hidden Paradise

Hongxingping is located in Hushan Township.

As the name suggests, this place has both a lake and mountains. “The mountains embrace the lake, the lake cradles the mountains, and people live between the flowing waters.” About 1,100 years ago, Master Guanxiu described this area this way while living in seclusion in Suichang. Traveling west along the Wuxi River system, through valleys, paths, and villages, the scenery shifts between open spaces and winding routes.

Hot Springs

Genuine hot springs, from a true source.

Hongxingping was built near the Hushan Fluorite Mine. A few years ago, a hot spring spring was discovered in the mining area.

The 41-degree hot spring water is clear, smooth, and flows day and night. This is the only certified genuine hot spring within Lishui.

The spring water fills 19 hot spring pools of various sizes at the Hongxingping Resort—undiluted, unheated, and 100% natural.

Originating from 400 meters deep underground, it warms the body and refreshes the spirit.

Rooms

The architecture tells a story too.

Hongxingping preserves the original buildings of the Qinqi Township Government and Qinqi Primary School. The old commune and schoolhouse have been lovingly revitalized.

Blue bricks and black tiles, blackboards and old slogans, arched gates, stone steps, covered bridges, pavilions, towering ancient trees, and rows of green shade. Wander through a beautiful bygone era—a row of Shanghai-style Shikumen homes in the countryside.

The resort has a total of 90 guest rooms. Standalone villas by the hot spring pools, refined rooms by the tea gardens, and windows with dreamy views of the lake.

Hongxingping grows its own vegetables, rice, and lotus roots from its source fields, and enjoys fresh lake fish gifted by the Wuxi River Reservoir all year round.

Suichang Hongxingping Hot Spring Resort is located in Hongxingping Village, Hushan Township, nestled by the picturesque Wuxi River.

The hot spring water is sourced from a 400-meter-deep mine shaft at the Hushan Fluorite Mine, 2 kilometers away from the resort. It is the only 100% natural hot spring in the area drawn directly from a fluorite mine. Analysis shows it is rich in various trace elements and minerals essential to the human body, classified as a mild fluoride, metasilicic acid, and calcium carbonate-type hot spring. It helps relieve fatigue and offers health, beauty, skincare, and therapeutic benefits.

The resort buildings were renovated from the former Qinxu Township Government and Qinxu Primary School. It features 90 three-star-equivalent hot spring guest rooms, 10 five-star farmhouse-style private dining rooms, 3 lobbies, and 19 pools including fish therapy pools, specialty medicinal pools, and beauty pools.

Facilities include large and small meeting rooms, VIP halls, and multi-function halls; entertainment amenities such as chess, cards, and saunas; as well as a basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, and fishing center, plus areas for outdoor barbecues and bonfire parties.

The resort provides luxury yachts and painted pleasure boats for water sightseeing, with capacity to accommodate 150 people for meetings, 250 for dining, and 200 for hot spring bathing.

Hongxingping borders a 60,000-mu water surface, offering views of green mountains and islands. It neighbors the Hushan Forest Park and faces the Huangniling Farming-and-Literature Village across the river.
